LEATHERS
Our standard stock range is manufactured using three different leathers offering choice of quality, feel and budget.
WARWICK
Our Warwick bonded leather is made from scrap leather from the tanneries which is gathered pulped and sprayed or bonded onto board before being re-used. This saves the scrap being sent to landfill. The leather is reconstituted and scrap is turned into a useful product. The high quality finish to the leather makes it ideal for blocking.
MALVERN
This smooth soft leather has a thin water resistant coating which means dirt, water and stains are easily removed, making it a long lasting and hard wearing leather. It is suitable for both blind and foil blocking.
MELBOURNE
This soft nappa leather with its waxy and luxurious feel is ideal for blind blocking. The leather is tumble dyed with eco friendly agents to make it sustain its suppleness and good feel and it is embossed to give a uniform character throughout.
CAVENDISH
The full calf naked leather is drum dyed and has a really natural feel as it is not artificially corrected in anyway. The leather which is soft and waxy to the touch simply exudes quality. The natural grain of the skin is clearly noticeable enhancing the quality of the leather.
DEVONSHIRE
This leather is similar to the Cavendish range but is mildly corrected and has a waxy seal to make it more hard wearing. It is medium soft with a classic optic and looks equally elegant in black and other colours.
ECO VERDE
Our Eco Verde leather is tanned in what is known as the semi veg method which uses eco friendly products such as acacia bark and fish oil extract. The leather itself is rich in both colour and texture and is a very high quality leather.
